Congratulations to Joe, Jerry, Pat, and Casey on winning gold in their divisions at the fabio santos open held in point loma on may 19th. The guys swept their divisions in white, blue, purple, and brown belts!

Trainers

All of our trainers are professional athletes in their respective sport. They are not certified over-the-weekend employees. They are the REAL THING. It is our goal to educate members in our gyms, along with members in our communities, about health. We at UNLEASHED believe that there are no better ways to achieve this goal than to have people learn the methods used by professionals. This is no quick-fix pill; it is a structured approach to techniques, nutrition, and exercise that not only improves one's health, but more importantly promotes a lifestyle change.

John competed in boxing as a youth but gave way to the competitive sport of football, eventually landing him in Florida where he played with the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. With his football career behind him John began competing professionally in MMA, compiling a record of 9 wins and 0 losses. Although John never boxed professionally he did serve as a chief sparing partner for several of the hottest current and past world class competitors. Watch Video

Art began his career as a collegiate and freestyle wrestler before becoming a professional boxer. His natural athletic ability allowed him to compete in and win several regional competitions and also made for a smooth transition from wrestling to boxing. Art now trains and instructs at UNLEASHED with aspirations of showcasing his boxing and wrestling skills in the M.M.A world.

Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing or the “science of eight limbs” is an ancient Thai fighting technique. This art focuses on the ability to execute strikes using eight points of contact; hands, elbows, knees and feet. Muay Thai was originated in Thailand but now has been popularized all over the word. Master/teacher’s of this discipline hold the title Kru.

Kru Anan, our traditional Muay Thai instructor, was born in Bangkok Thailand. When he was 16 years old Kru Anan began to train at one of Bangkok’s oldest gyms, the Dejrat Camp. At the age of 19 Kru Anan started competing professionally at the famous Rajadamnern and Lumpini Stadiums. Kru Anan’s professional record is 40 wins with only 6 losses. Before coming to America, Kru Anan taught Muay Thai in Wellington New Zealand for two years with phenomenal results.
